The Nursing Services continues to provide essential services to the public in an effort to promote the health of individuals with professionally trained nurse aids. Nursing Services is a unique humanitarian service offered by the Zimbabwe Red Cross Society to render nurisng care to individuals in their respective homes and in hospitals through professionally trained nurse aids. Trained nurse aids who are part of home nursing services attend mandatory routine meetings which cover:-

o Nurse aide duties and activity of daily routine

o Code of conduct

o Professionalism/ethics and etiquette

o Accountability and responsibility

o Revision in Basic Nursing Care

o Nurse aide uniform

The Nursing Agency continues to network with the relevant humanitarian institutions such as public and private hospitals.

• All registered nurse-aides attend orientation sessions in preparation for practical attachment to hospitals and to render nursing care to individuals.
